Coordinate the external & internal corporate communication teams in the US, Canada and Latin America markets, helping to implement Group’s policies.
•Drive the corporate communications and stakeholder engagement strategy including media, government and some NGO relations in specific cases to develop a brand reputation in the US, Canada and Latin America markets.
•Oversee the execution of the corporate communications/stakeholder engagement strategy in the US, Canada and other American markets.
•Be aware and coordinate the fashion brands’ activity (promotions, openings, presentations…) through the corresponding department.
•Increase brand awareness for all Inditex USA brands.
•Manage the Group’s media relations, including identifying relevant media and establishing and strengthening those relationships.
•Develop delivery and planning for corporate messaging in preparing background, talking points, press releases, corporate video, press dossiers…
•Responding to inquiries from the media;
•Monitoring traditional and social media.
•Crisis management and brand reputation protection.
•Work with other departments including Legal, HR, Training, Expansion, Logistics, GeneralServices, Store Construction Management and Commercial to support their communication needs.
•Provide direct support and strategic counsel to executive and senior management teams, expansion unit managers and commercial leaders to build and protect the corporate brand.
•To assure the good reception of internal messages, through the different established channels: internal communication channels, emails, panels… To keep a constant feed-back to exactly know the perception and the internal satisfaction level. Monitor feedback messages from the employees to be published in the intranet and/or the internal magazine IN.
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or applicable experience.
At least 5 years in Retail/ Fashion marketing, Strategic and corporate communications, and corporate affairs.
Skills and Attitudes:
•Extremely good communication skills.
•Strong knowledge and awareness of the brands.
•Able to work independently.
•Ability to influence and communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
